CYRIL KUHNS
Cyril Kuhns is an Austin native who started teaching themself to tattoo in 2012. They identify as queer, Jewish, and Tejano.
Foregoing the classic apprenticeship route gave Cyril the freedom to develop an art practice that focused on the safety and comfort of the client first. As a result, they continue to attract clients of all backgrounds, colors, shapes, and experience levels, including tattoo first-timers young and old. They love getting to know their clients, and the rewarding challenge of creating a design that realizes your vision.
Cyril is an all-around artist with strengths in multiple styles, including American traditional, woodcut-/engraving-style, and black & gray micro-realism. Cyril's specialty is "trippy trad" -- bold, American traditional-inspired designs with colorful outlines and fluorescent color palettes.
